Topic : The Norwegian Explorer Fridtjof Nansen

For my final major project I have choosen the Norwegian Explorer Fridtjof Nansen. The designs of the products, the labelling for the hamper, the poster and the booklets present various aspects of his voyage on the Fram to Greenland. Also background information with regard to his life and other achievements are given. As he has been an very special and brave explorer. I will also display work from my previous semester and of course in the future anything else which will be realized.

Review of work for the last semester level 5

Here the brief was to create an advertising for the UK Brand Douwe Egberts. D.W. asked the designer to create an advertising that would show its image as a traditonal but also modern company.
D.W. aims to attract young people aged 17- 25 who like to go to coffee shops like Starbucks.

Therefore the design had to be fresh, young and eye-catching. I choose to do a poster design in order to get the major attention of my audience and various possibilities to display the advertising.



Within this module there was a second brief :
The creation of a typographic design around the number 100.
What this number means in terms of achievements of mankind.
